Engine Performance
The Hyundai Elantra has multiple engine options. The base engine gets its power from a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that puts out 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The engine gets paired to a continuously variable automatic transmission. You can also get a 1.6L I-4 engine that produces 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. That engine gets paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The Hyundai Elantra also has the N line trim level. That trim level gets its power from a 2.0L four-cylinder turbocharged engine that puts out 275 horsepower. This engine is paired to either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Interior Features
You can expect the new Hyundai Elantra to have plenty of interior features that will bring you and your passengers comfort. The front seats come with multi-level heating options for the chilly winters and ventilate for the stifling Texas summers. The driver's seat can be made to be power-adjustable in six different ways. This will make sure that you get the best height and distance from the steering wheel that will provide the best visibility for you.
Modern Technology Features
If you need to have music or podcasts playing while going to the grocery store in Houston, the Hyundai Elantra can help you out. The 10.25-inch touchscreen has many features that bring you entertainment, like Satellite radio. However, you can connect your smartphone to the touchscreen using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to access the music, apps, and contacts on your phone. Get lost less on your road trips out of Houston with the in-dash navigation system. On long road trips, you can stay connected with your friends back home by posting your pictures to your favorite photo-sharing apps using the Wi-Fi hotspot in your sedan.
